A Few Tips From Us:
Keep it Cold.
Store your finished syrup toward the back of your refrigerator rather than in the door, where the temperatures can be warmer.
Making it for a little one?
Honey should never be given to babies under 12 months because of the risk of infant botulism. If you are making a batch for your family, choose an appropriate alternative sweetener for any child under 1.
Skip the shake.
Once the syrup has cooled, I like to blend in my honey until everything is nice and smooth. It keeps the honey well incorporated, so there's no need to shake the jar every single time. Blending creates bubbles so I let those settle before pouring the syrup into the jar.
Keep an eye on your syrup.
If something looks questionable or you notice signs of spoilage, don't chance it. Toss it and make a fresh batch.
From our families to yours
We hope you love making your Elderberry Vita syrup as much as we love sharing it with you. Thank you for supporting our small businesses, our families, and this collaboration. Every kit that makes its way into another home means more to us than you know.
With Love,
Kayla and Sarah
